CEPH Cluster recovering - Expect Slowness on some systems

8:40 a.m.: Services are being restored but access may still be slow. Banner 9 applications are available once more. We're still investigating the root cause. 

 

8:00 a.m.: Engineers are currently meeting with support. Below is a more comprehensive list of affected services.

6:40 a.m: The Ceph Cluster is recovering and will be slow to serve files.

This impacts the Banner System, Scientific Instruments, and file shares across campus.  We have a ticket open with 45drives, and once we have a better idea I'll be able to provide more cogent information.

WiFi Certificate Upgrade 9/9/26

Details

On Wednesday morning the yearly WiFi certificate updates will take place. Wireless clients connecting to WWUwireless-Secure or eduroam will need to accept the new cert. If you are not prompted to accept the new certificate automatically, you may need to restart your computer or forget the network from your device settings then join again. If you have trouble connecting to the WiFi following this update, please contact the ATUS Help Desk.

The Common Name (CN): "ise10.net.wwu.edu". The new cert will need to be trusted per user and per device.
